BFFs!

This is a one page layout that I made for my daughters best friends birthday. I put it in a black frame. I used the Le Belle Vie paper pack and Stickease. I absolutely fell in love with this paper pack. It is something easy and cute and always a great gift.

Autumn Art Philosophy Blog Hop

Welcome to our Autumn Art Philosophy Blog Hop! Each month we are showcasing our amazing Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge which can be purchased exclusively through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant.

It's the time of year where leaves are changing colors, temperatures are dropping, the days are shorter, and the holidays are quickly approaching. This month we will be featuring projects with an Autumn theme made using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge!

If you just happened to come to this blog, you should start at the beginning at Lucy's blog - Love 2 Create. If you came here from Arlene ~ Arlene's Creative Space, then you're in the right place!

My project is ...   Holiday Sign Set Featuring Thanksgiving

What I used:
My Creation Collage Cubes (Z1737)
Moonlight Paper Pack (X7161B)
Goldrush Ink (Z2123)
Smokey Plum Ink (Z2147)

Sponge Daubers (Z726)
Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge (Z1686)

What I did:
I used the paper of choice and cut 1 7/8 in. squares. I used cardstock of choice to cut out leafs using cricut, p. 34 < Leaf2>  2 in.  I use another cardstock of choice to cut out the letters using the cricut, 1 1/2 in. I use the sponge daubers to edge everything. I ink the block and all the papers. I also use the goldrush ink on the leafs to make it look a little more like a real leaf. Then just glue everything in place. I will have a new holiday on each side. Please come back soon to see pictures of the rest of the holiday sign set.

The next stop on your trail of falling leaves is Priscilla ~ Priscilla's Paperie

I made two projects with this fun stamp set. The first is a basket that you can put a treat in. This is great for teachers or co-workers. The basket was cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge (Z1790) on page 73. For the snowflake handle I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (Z1686). It is on page 64, font layer. I used the Pear & Partridge (X7162B) paperpack for both projects. The second project is super easy to make. I made holiday bag clips, using clothes pins. Use these to as a cute way to close holiday gifts. I used the Artiste cartridge according to the stamp set. I topped it off with our clear assortment sparkles (Z1752).
